Glengormley Revistalisation Scheme

Glengormley Revistalisation Scheme

As part of the Newtownabbey Regeneration Strategy, this Revitalisation project sets out to substantially improve the town’s retail offer and increase footfall. Newtownabbey Borough Council is working in association with the Glengormley Chamber & Traders’ Association to deliver a Department for Development funded Revitalisation programme. The programme will see significant improvements to the area such as improving shop frontage, vacant premises and floral displays. By combining the revitalisation works with a compelling branding and marketing campaign the aim is to make the area more attractive to shoppers and visitors and increase trade in the area.
